Fragbase.ca is a large non steam community initially established as a local counter strike group in Ontario, Canada. They have since then expanded into an international non steam group, providing lag free non steam counter strike servers, a friendly community and more!

Twilight MU is a large private Mu Online server established since mid 2006. Since then, they have acquired several thousand registered users, several hundred online users (all the time), a friendly community, an excellent administrative and overall just a premium private server.
